Abstract

The Regulatory Impact Evaluation (EIR) has been considered as one of the most suitable tools in terms of administrative regulation in order to analyze the cost and benefit of the implementation of new regulations. Not being still regulated in national law, it is necessary to investigate its suitability for the Chilean case, focusing the analysis on how citizen participation can be made part of it
