Environmental conditions in the public library system of the City General Party Pueyrredon (Pvcia.Buenos Aires-Argentina): a study of environmental conditions and risk factors, and their perception by workers during the period 2008-2009.
Abstract
This study is based on the research group's project Alexandria, which is devoting to the investigation of the conditions and work environment existing in Public Libraries General Pueyrredon Party (Pvcia. of Buenos Aires - Argentina). The aim was to formalize a description of the working environment of public libraries in order to obtain objective data on risk factors to which the worker is exposed and the perception of librarians able to produce or contribute to cause damage on their health. During the literature review we found that there are no studies and no records about the work environment in public libraries located in the Party for what we believe essential to collect objective data and the views of workers who take these risks every day. Undoubtedly these components are of transcendental importance when promoting any type of prevention policy.
